Bicyle Helmet Program
The Town of Upton Police Department operates a Bicycle Helmet program in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Bureau. The Department provides bicycle helmets at no cost to youth in need. Helmets are available at Police Headquarters. Most serious bicycling injuries involve head trauma; the proper use of a bicycle helmet reduces the number of and seriousness of injuries sustained.
